Overall: I like the simplicity of this new platform offered by LinkedIn. I will be continuing my testing of this platform and appreciate any feedback you have. If you are one of the beta-testers, please write me back with your experience so far and your recommendations.
Write articles about your own experiences, and from your own expertise. Others in your industry may have written articles about similar topics, but your own perspective is unique unto you.
People are becoming more social online and will use their preferred social media channel to not just follow, but to connect with you -- usually when they're dissatisfied or upset.
Without strategic planning, any marketing effort will be watered down to a "spray-and-pray" disability that will hinder growth. Along with that, if you don't measure your marketing efforts, you won't know if you are achieving your goals or falling short.
